"Getting Category Insight and help from P&G has been invaluable and has allowed us to revitalise the categories within our stores by using the latest planograms and Market Insight available. The relationship with P&G has been more about partnering together with a mission to understand and grow the overall category by focussing on consumer needs in the convenience channel and introducing new products as shopper habits change. Since the introduction of the ShelfHelp project we have seen a genuine uplift in sales and consumers purchasing new products which we previously would not have stocked. I would recommend retailers review their own fixtures in line with the ShelfHelp project to see if they can maximise their growth from this category by tightening their range and offering consumers the right products and pack sizes as their shopping patterns change to buying little and often."
