Shortlisted in the ‘Merchandising Initiative of the Year’ category
Procter & Gamble has been nominated within the ‘Merchandising Initiative of the Year’ category for its ShelfHelp scheme at this year’s RN Retailer Choice Awards. For a third consecutive year, the RN Retailer Choice Awards will showcase the standout companies, products and ideas of 2017.
The Merchandising Initiative of the Year award highlights initiatives that have helped improve the way businesses operate. At the beginning of this year, P&G evolved its ShelfHelp scheme by bringing together a group of convenience retailers to help them boost sales within the convenience channel, across P&G’s core categories – Laundry, Health & Beauty, Homecare and Baby.
The ShelfHelp website is an invaluable resource for retailers to help boost their sales. Real results were recently witnessed when a number of retailers who followed P&G advice to replace traditional laundry powders for gel pods and liquid fomulas, saw a substantial uplift in sales, with one retailer seeing a 63% rise.
