  • 73% of shoppers claim they find the skincare shelf not very enjoyable to shop, so ensure that the merchandising principles are followed
  • Customers have a clear idea of the skincare brands they expect to find in a store and can find it frustrating if they’re not there so make sure you stock the top brands
  • List a breadth of ranges, including mid-tier and premium to ensure shoppers still have a choice and drive regime purchase
  • Core ranges account for >90% of category sales, so allocate most of your shelf space to them
  • Simplify the range and shopping experience to help close the sale in store
